Description
Homemade butter with a story of traditional craft
A wooden churn recalls a time when making butter was part of everyday dairy work at home. Today it can help you return to that experience in your own kitchen: choose the cream, follow the steps and taste butter you made yourself. This fir-wood churn is made in Poland using traditional methods by an experienced cooper. Each piece has the individual character of handwork.

Wooden hoops complete the traditional construction and do not rust. The churn can also decorate a rustic kitchen or cheese dairy. A gift for someone who values craft and wants equipment that combines a purpose with the history of traditional methods.

How to use
All you need to make butter is high-fat cream, either fresh or shop-bought. Before first use, wipe the churn dry and treat it with very warm edible oil, such as sunflower or rapeseed oil. Repeat this care regularly according to how often the churn is used.
After each use, wash with water, wipe thoroughly and leave to dry in a well-ventilated place. Do not put a damp churn in sunlight or near heat sources, as this can crack the wood.
