The compact housing fits in a pocket, while the cap protects the probe between measurements. A range of −50 to 150°C lets you use one instrument at different food preparation stages. The 0.1°C resolution makes changes easy to follow, while ±0.2°C accuracy from −30 to 120°C supports work requiring careful temperature control.

At switch-on, CAL CHECK checks the internal measuring circuit. Automatic switch-off after 8 or 60 minutes of inactivity and approximately 2,000 hours of battery operation help keep handling to what is needed for measuring. IP65 protection is another practical feature for kitchen use.

What is CAL CHECK?

This function helps ensure that an electronic fault does not distort measurements. In CAL CHECK mode, the displayed value must be between −0.3 and +0.3°C. This indicates that the instrument measures with the required accuracy.
