Care for your electrode between measurements
This storage solution for pH and ORP electrodes helps keep the glass membrane and reference junction hydrated. Correct storage is an important part of preparing the sensor for its next measurement, whether you routinely test milk or work with other samples.
A clean, hydrated tip
After cleaning the electrode with a suitable cleaner, rinse it as directed in the sensor instructions, then place it in storage solution. The liquid helps keep the tip and junction hydrated and clean, limits microbial growth and reduces adverse changes associated with diffusion and osmosis. This matters for response time and stable electrode operation.
A practical 500 ml bottle
The airtight bottle with a tamper-evident seal helps preserve the solution quality. The packaging carries a batch number and expiry date, making it easier to keep track of the product in use. Volume: 500 ml.
Important storage guidance
Do not store pH or Redox (ORP) electrodes in distilled or deionised water, as this can shorten sensor life. Check solution compatibility and use in your electrode instructions; do not treat water or an arbitrary calibration buffer as a universal substitute for storage solution.
