Description
Containers are used to produce cheese in equal portions. For example, when heating milk in a large pot, you can pour the heated milk into several smaller containers and continue production in them (add starter cultures, rennet, etc.). They are most useful for larger processors, but can also be useful in home production.
The containers are also suitable for transporting milk. Their tight seal, ease of cleaning, and low price make them ideal for transporting milk, e.g., in a car.
The containers come with a wide plastic lid with an opening that can be sealed with the included rubber stopper. The set includes two fermentation tubes.
The material used to make the containers is characterized by high durability and flexibility. The containers are certified by the National Institute of Hygiene (PZH) for contact with food products. The original purpose of the containers is fruit fermentation, but they are also ideal for cheese production.
The containers are resistant to discoloration. The white color of the container is not accidental, as plastic in any other color may become discolored, which may result in the penetration of toxic dyes into the cheese.
To make it easier to open the container, tilt the lid, gently pull the handle, insert something like a spoon handle into the gap, and then slide it around the edge of the container.
It's not a good idea to clean the containers with rough sponges, so you don't scratch the surface, which could become a breeding ground for infections.
These containers can be additionally sealed by lubricating the edges of the container with petroleum jelly or edible oil.
