Description
Milk temperature under control, step by step
Homemade cheese calls for the right timing: heating milk, pasteurising and preparing to add rennet and cultures require temperature control. This thermometer helps you follow changes and work from a reading and your recipe, rather than judging milk by touch alone. Useful for your first attempt and for later batches of your favourite cheese.
Clip it to the pot and follow the reading
The included clip lets you attach the thermometer to a pot, for example. A 19.8 cm probe and 5.3 cm dial form a practical combination for working with milk. The specially designed dial makes the process easier to monitor, while the 0–100°C range covers measurements used at many stages of home cheesemaking.
A simple tool for regular use
Made from stainless steel and heat-resistant glass. A probe cover is included for protection during storage and between uses. A useful addition to a home cheesemaking setup and a practical gift for someone developing their skills. Choose temperatures and times for each stage according to the recipe and the instructions for your ingredients.
