Description
This handmade linden-wood butter mould creates a Christmas tree that makes a striking festive table decoration. Prepare it ahead of the meal and serve a decorative portion of butter alongside bread.
A carved tree brings a traditional touch to Christmas breakfast or a family gathering. The mould provides the shape; careful filling and chilling help preserve the details.
Before first use, prepare the inside of the mould by coating it with hot edible oil.
Before each use, soak the mould in cold water. Add butter at room temperature, press firmly into all recesses and edges, then chill in the refrigerator or cold water. Once the butter is firm and its edges pull slightly away, gently remove it.
Mould: 7.5 × 8 cm, height 11 cm. Finished butter tree: approximately 10 cm high, base diameter approximately 5.5 cm.
