A jar-mounted churn lets you explore traditional butter making without buying a large wooden churn. A choice for home kitchens, first dairy-making experiments or a gift for someone who likes discovering how everyday foods are made.
Choose the size and whether you need a jar
Small and large versions fit different lid diameters, so check your vessel before choosing. Buy the churn alone or a set with a jar and an extra lid. This helps you assemble your own equipment and choose a size for your planned experiments. Beech wood adds traditional character; after use, the tool can also decorate a kitchen or cheese dairy.
The churn is made of solid beech wood. We recommend treating it with hot edible oil. Repeat this care periodically, every few weeks or months depending on how often it is used.
It also makes an attractive decoration for the home, kitchen, cheese dairy, restaurant or shop.
Small – overall height: 40 cm
Fits standard 0.9 l jars or larger jars with the same lid diameter (82 mm).
Large – overall height: 45 cm
Fits standard 1.7 l jars or larger jars with the same lid diameter (110 mm).
Available as the churn alone or as a set with a jar and an extra lid.
