Amarena cherries are sour cherries in thick syrup with an intense, distinctive taste. They pair perfectly with ice cream and frozen yoghurt, but also work beautifully in cupcakes or crème brûlée. They are also traditionally used in Black Forest cake. Their flavour is truly irresistible.
