Yogurt is a drink known and liked for years, originating in the Middle East regions, in Europe spread by the Turks in the Balkans and further throughout Europe. It contains a lot of vitamins and microelements as well as friendly and beneficial bacterial microflora. Thanks to the work of microorganisms, there is little lactose in it, which is why people with intolerance can drink it. Ideally suited to mixes with fruit, dried fruit and nuts, it is also used in many recipes.

Unfortunately, yogurt "from the store" is often enriched with various additives such as pectin to thicken the texture or aromas - "improving" the taste. In addition, yoghurts that have been in the store for a long time have much less active bacteria than fresh ones.
