Yogurt is a drink known and liked for many years, originating in the Middle East, widespread in Europe by the Turks in the Balkans and further throughout Europe. It contains a lot of vitamins and microelements as well as friendly and beneficial bacterial microflora. Thanks to the work of microorganisms, there is little lactose in it, which is why people with intolerance can drink it. Ideally suited to mixes with fruit, dried fruit and nuts, it is also used in many recipes.
Unfortunately, yogurts "from the store" are often enriched with various additives such as pectins to thicken the texture or aromas - "improving" the taste. In addition, yogurts that lie long in the fridge in the store have far less active bacteria than fresh ones.
Homemade yogurt is healthy, easy to make and tasty, and above all we are sure what we eat.
