Description

High-quality butter churn (plunger-type) made of fir wood. Made in Poland, using traditional methods, by an experienced cooper. Perfect for making homemade butter. The butter churn will also serve as a beautiful, traditional decoration!

All we need to make a butter is cream with a high fat content. It may be a fresh cream, collected from milk, but butter will also come out of cream bought in the store!

Wood rims are better than metal rims - they do not rust.

Before first use, the butter churn should be dry wiped and preserved with very warm edible oil - e.g. sunflower or rapeseed oil.

This process should be repeated from time to time depending on usage.

After use, the butter churn should be washed with water and wiped. Leave to dry in a ventilated place. Do not expose a wet butter churn to the sun or other heat sources - this may cause cracks.
